Full Stack Web Development Instructor
- Teach Skillspire’s MERN (JavaScript/React) or Python Full-Stack (Flask, Django)
- Facilitate group discussions, demos, in-class activities, and feedback & coaching sessions
- Prepare students for success by providing coaching in all aspects of their journey towards becoming critical thinkers and problem solvers
- Provide actionable feedback on student’s soft and hard skills
- Follow industry trends related to Full-Stack Development
- Part-time instruction of students, following a well-curated curriculum, supplemented with your own professional experiences
- Gather and report on student metrics, and taking care of student´s attendance, grading assignments, etc.
- Participate in occasional project and curriculum development, as well as curriculum refinement
- Participate on and off-campus activities, including but not limited to orientation, open houses, workshops related to Full-stack Development.
You must have proficient web programming experience. Please ensure you meet or exceed at least one of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree, in addition to one (1) year of relevant work experience.
- Associates degree, in addition to two (2) years of relevant work experience.
- Candidates with experience both in instruction and in programming jobs strongly preferred.
- Must have reliable internet and equipment to perform all job duties
Cybersecurity Instructor
- Teach Skillspire’s cybersecurity programs
- Facilitate group discussions, demos, in-class activities and feedback & coaching sessions
- Prepare students for success by providing coaching in all aspects of their journey towards becoming critical thinkers and problem solvers
- Provide actionable feedback on student’s soft and hard skills
- Follow industry trends related to cybersecurity
- Play a hands-on role in curriculum development, use what you learn from working with students to make our curriculum world class
- Day to day instruction of students, following a well-curated curriculum, supplemented with your own professional experiences
- Implement state law policies relating to career / vocational schools, such as enforcing student attendance, the grading of assignments, etc.
- Gather and report on student metrics
- Participate in occasional project and curriculum development, as well as curriculum refinement
- Participate on and off campus activities, including but not limited to: orientation, open houses, student events, graduations, tech talks and workshops related to Cyber Security
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
You must have proficient Cyber Security and Information Technology experience. Please ensure you meet or exceed the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, CS, MIS or related IT degree from an accredited college or university
- Current certifications in CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CPT (Certified Penetration Tester) or similar
- Understanding of standard professional certification processes
- Knowledge of information security concepts and best practices including encryption, application security, penetration testing and computer forensics
- Experience installing maintaining, and troubleshooting information technology systems including Windows, Cisco and Linux technologies
- Experience with Information & cyber security operation, governance, assurance and compliance
- Teaching and leading teams experience a big plus
- A combo of cyber security, professional certifications and education in your background is preferred
- You are passionate about learning, helping others from diverse backgrounds, and making a positive impact in the world.
- You are a highly motivated individual with leadership skills who can guide and lead our students.
- Teaching, mentorship, and coaching experience is a big plus!
Data Analytics Instructor
- Deliver instruction on data analytics, Excel, Python, SQL, MS Power BI, statistics, probability, and data engineering
- Facilitate group discussions, demos, and in-class activities.
- Follow industry trends in big data, deep learning, machine learning and AI.
- Gather and report on student metrics.
- Work alongside Skillspire’s instruction team to deliver training.

- You are a highly motivated individual with leadership skills who can guide and lead our students.

No, a basic level of computer literacy and a motivation to learn is all you need for most of our courses.
Our courses are designed for diverse backgrounds; If programming or tech is a career track that you really want to pursue, you may sign-up for our courses whether you are software engineer, product/program manager, analyst, researcher, consultant, student, etc.
It can vary depending on your unique background. However, it usually takes 18 hours/week outside of the classroom for homework and study time.
Yes, you will be given a certificate of completion for any course, after you pass the final exam.
